How To Make Paper Flower Crafts : Part One |
 |
You can astonish your friends and new neighbors with the delightful and relaxing hobby of
learning how to make paper flower crafts.
My sister, brother in law, and my six year old niece relocated to my town last summer. Until
they found a suitable home for themselves they stayed with my wife and I. During this time,
my niece began displaying a melancholy demeanor and began withdrawing from everything.
We recognized that she needed to make a few friends to become comfortable and familiar
with her new environment because she was feeling lonely and like a stranger in this new
environment.
What cheered her up and helped her forget about her problems to a certain degree was
making paper flower crafts with me. On my street there are a couple of kids her age and I
decided to talk with their parents and invite them over to meet my niece.
They all quickly became friendly when I got them to make some paper flower craft projects.
Thanks to the comradery that our paper flower crafts introduced my niece has now settled in
to her new environment.
This is the first craft we created...
The hobby shop or craft store will carry the few supplies you will need to pick up. First, you
need some colored sheets of cardboard paper and some crepe paper (tissue paper). Next,
you will need to purchase some glue and colored markers if you don't already have them at
home. One large and one small pair of scissors, which can be found in any store. The last
thing is a challenging, creative imagination that is willing to think up and create ideas. There
are no previous skills needed to create a paper flower craft and almost any image you think
up can be created in a short period of time.
Everything from three dimensional paper flower crafts that are placed anywhere and
everywhere in viewing sight to single sheet cardboard cut-outs of flowers that are used for the
trimming inside the house can be made with this hobby.
The pattern of a young child's hand is one of my favorite paper flower crafts.
1. Put your child's hand on to a piece of colored cardboard paper and then trace it.
2. Cut out the image you traced along the lines.
3. With a pencil, curl the fingers.
4. Make a cone like shape with the palm.
5. Glue the paper flower hand on a straw or similar object.
6. Make some leaves from the green construction paper and then glue them along the straw.
Do the whole process again for as many flowers as you want.
Anybody at any age can do this hobby because it is very inexpensive and lots of fun to do. A
way that people can express their artistic creativity to their friends or if you just want to meet
new people is through the relaxing, habit-forming way of making paper flowers. It will give you
a feeling of worth and accomplishment when people comment on certain crafts that you
created. Making paper flower crafts can be an excellent way to possibly meet a new
neighbor or just a new, very relaxing hobby for you to enjoy.
